School Year Calendar 2010-2011
It is widely accepted that all children learn best in a year-round schooling situation with shorter, but more frequent breaks. Following this philosophy, Star Academy has divided the school year as follows:

At 204, Star Academy has more academic teaching days than the local Public Board (192) and a broad sample of Private school contemporaries (average 159).

One of the wonderful things about the summer is the excitement of planning a fun and thrilling events calendar for the coming year. The following is an outline of what the new school year will look like. This outline of course does not include all of the extra-curricular sports and clubs that change monthly to entice all students to participate.
