Summer Showtime
Proof, if proof were needed, that our children learn best when they’re having fun will be there for all to see during our Summer programme 2010.
Why not come and see what your child’s education could be like? Summer Showtime is brilliant way to achieve the best of both worlds – academics and fun thematic learning.
Oceans Alive! (July 5 – 9)
Catch the wave as we head for the ocean to explore the world that lies beneath. Do you know how salt is formed? Can the ocean really float a garbage pile the size of Ontario? Who’s thriving, who’s suffering…find out…
The World in 3D (July 12 – 16)
Grab the 3D glasses and let’s have some fun! We’ll make our own optical illusions, do 3D photography or make your own sculpture!
S.M.A.R.T. (July 19 – 23)
Strength, Mind, Ability, Respect and Trust. It’s worth more than the score! Fun is the key to this week while you develop skills and fitness levels designed to make everything easier.
Techno-Wizards (July 26 – 30)
Robotics, animation, lego or digital art all allow for a fantastic scope for expression in what promises to be a great week whether you’re a scientist or artist!
Each week will culminate in a performance for friends and families.
With record numbers last year, we hope to grow still further in 2010. The atmosphere is terrific throughout in a programme designed and staffed to accommodate jk-grade 8 kids of all abilities. Everyone will leave better equipped than they arrived. Problem solving, working as a team, learning new skills, and all the while keeping the mind active in ways that promote an easier transition back into the new school year.
Remember you can participate for any combination of weeks (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) and all programmes are designed for students from JK – Gr8.
